Here is why Rosso Gargano products are considered special:
• Farm-to-Table Speed: Tomatoes are processed within hours of harvesting, often within 6 hours, ensuring maximum freshness and retention of flavor.
• Unique Geographical Origin & Taste: Grown in the sun-kissed region of Puglia, particularly the Capitanata area, the tomatoes are influenced by the nearby Lake Lesina, giving them a distinctively sweet, intense, and aromatic flavor profile.
• Direct Control of Supply Chain: The company was founded by farmers, allowing them to personally oversee the entire process from planting the seeds to harvesting and canning.
• High-Quality Processing: Rosso Gargano uses modern technology to sort tomatoes by color and quality, ensuring only the best, ripe tomatoes are used. Many of their products are produced without citric acid, relying on the natural acidity of the fruit.
• Certifications & Sustainability: The brand holds several high-level certifications, including BRC, IFS, GlobalGAP, and ISO 22005, reflecting strict quality control and sustainable agricultural practices like drip irrigation.
